Interagency collaboration
SSHRC, the Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR), the Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council (NSERC), and the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI) are working to better co-ordinate our programs, activities and policies. This collaboration reflects the federal research funding agencies’ commitment to our shared principles on what constitutes research excellence, as well as on the growing importance of interdisciplinary research.
